DILERMAN: Nokia Lumia 900 Amzer Shellster Case Review

The Nokia Lumia 900 Amzer Shellster Case caters to the consumer who’s looking to showcase their device, but not willing to keep it naked and unprotected. Personally owning the Nokia Lumia 900, I’ve been obsessed with flaunting my device when possible. You don’t have to be a fan of Windows Phone 7.5 in order to fall in love with Nokia’s industrial design. Moving on, the Amzer Shellster case provides protection, portability, and assists in adding a visual prowess to your Nokia Lumia 900.

.

Protection

The Amzer case provides protection throughout the entire back of the Lumia, as well as the left and right sides of the device. It’s rubberized matte finish doesn’t only feel great in the hand, but provides adequate grip overall. The top and bottom are left empty, which I prefer, since those encompass the speakers, charging port, sim card tray, and the headphone jack.

Portability

Amzer includes a holster with the case and I must say it’s a welcome addition. The holster is very simple in design and offers a rotating clip that greatly helps in positioning it on your waist. There is a soft touch pad on the inside of the holster, so every time you insert your Lumia, it acts as a cloth wipe and cleans your screen when sliding it back out. These small details add to the overall value of the case.

Visual Showcase

This section is of personal preference without a doubt. Since the Amzer case isn’t a full body one, different aspects of the Lumia 900 can be seen when attached. As you can see in the video review, the color variant and front of the device are almost completely exposed. Since the majority of your user experience will be focused on the front of the device, not having it cluttered or overlapped by other materials is a plus in my opinion. As always, it depends on the person’s taste.
After all of that, I forgot to mention this case in priced at a measly $14.95. You can buy the Nokia Lumia 900 Amzer Shellster Case and others like it at www.amzer.com. Be sure to check out the video review for hands on use of the case.
